Delilah

This figure was inspired by the story of Samson and Delilah, in which Delilah cuts off Samson’s hair and takes away his power. In my painting, she's cutting her own hair as a way to take back her own power. The painting is 24"x48" and is made with collage and acrylic on canvas.
